Beechdale Farm Carding

Beechdale Farm has purchased 2 commercial carding machines from Homestead Carding, Nikau Bay in the Marlborough Sounds. It has been an exciting journey getting these machines home as each one weights 3.8 tons and Nikau Bay has no road access, so it involved a truck,  a crane and a barge.  We now have them up and running and ready for your wool carding needs. We can also wash and dying your wool.

Processing Costs:

Carding                        $13/kg

Washing                       $5/kg

Dying                            $15/kg

Please ensure your wool has been skirted and is free of vegetable matter.
